Members of our NEA community met with research scientists from around the world at Sanofiheadquarters in New Jersey. A patient panel format provided an opportunity for adult patients, caregivers, and a young child to share eczema insights and experiences that will impact the development of a new therapeutic for eczema. It is not often that researchers have the chance to hear from patients themselves. It was a motivating experience for the researchers and hope inspiring one for patients and caregivers. Sanofi has partnered with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals to study a new drug, dupilumab, for moderate-to-severe eczema. For more information on this study, please go to clinicaltrials.gov and search dupilumab.
