Sweat Less, Roar More: Lion Pose is Great for Low-Sweat Yoga

Ready to work out with your kids but not sure you want to risk a flare from sweaty skin? Lion pose was made for you (and your kids). Unroll the mat, get silly and get ready to stretch.


  1. Sit facing one edge of your yoga mat, with hips over the heels of your feet; rest your palms on your knees; inhale and lift the crown of your head up to lengthen your spine.
  2. While breathing out, move your palms onto the floor in front of your knees; arch your spine, look up, and stick out your tongue: now roar like a lion!
  3. Inhale and repeat.
