Expo 2022 is a hybrid event. What does that mean?
We’ve learned two important things from holding virtual Expos for the past two years. First, we learned that virtual events allow us to gather members of the global eczema community who would not have been able to attend an in-person event due to geography, finances and other factors. Second, we learned that there is nothing quite like an in-person event. While all of us enjoyed learning and networking online, many of us were left missing the connection that you can only get at an in-person event.
Expo 2022 offers the best of both worlds!
So, what will the in-person event look like?
Our in-person event, taking place July 7-10, 2022 in Seattle, WA, will include all of your favorite Expo features – and more! Here’s what you can expect at Expo in-person:
- Dozens of live sessions designed to educate, inspire and support, and given by world-class medical professionals and eczema community leaders;
- An Exhibit Hall where you can discover products, companies and organizations dedicated to the eczema community;
- Morning fitness sessions and nightly social gatherings;
- Expo camp, where kids 0-17 will meet their new BFFs, do fun activities and learn how to live their best lives with eczema;
- Access to the hybrid event site – including virtual gathering spaces and post-event support and AMA sessions – where you’ll be able to connect with eczema community members from across the globe!

What will the virtual event look like?
Virtual Expo will include live streams of selected sessions from the in-person event as well as post-event interactive sessions. Here’s what you can expect at virtual Expo:
- Live streaming from the in-person event of all general sessions and select breakout sessions;
- Ability to submit questions to be answered during live-streamed sessions;
- Access to the hybrid event site – including virtual gathering spaces and post-event support and AMA sessions – where you’ll be able to connect with eczema community members from across the globe!
