Expo 2022 health and safety precautions

As we gather again in person for the first time in two years, National Eczema Association’s top priority is the health of all Expo attendees.

We are following all Covid-19-related CDC guidelines for large indoor gatherings and complying with King County Covid-19 recommendations and requirements whenever applicable.

Mask policy

Currently, there are no mask requirements at our Expo 2022 venue, the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington. NEA recommends that all attendees wear masks during Expo activities, but masks are not required. We have a limited number of KN-95 masks for attendees who need them. The Hyatt Regency offers hand sanitizing stations throughout the property. Read more about the hotel’s cleanliness commitment.
King County requires masks in certain public places. Learn more here.

Vaccination policy

In accordance with CDC, state, local and facility regulations, we will not require Expo attendees to be vaccinated for Covid-19. We will monitor regulations and update registrants if there are changes.

Covid-19 testing

We encourage all attendees to take a rapid/antigen Covid-19 test prior to and during Expo, and ask that registrants monitor themselves and their young family members for Covid-19 symptoms. We will offer rapid/antigen test kits on site for a fee.
King County offers free testing sites. Learn more here.
US residents can order free rapid tests from the federal government.

Travel requirements and resources

Be sure to check your state and local requirements to see if you need to be vaccinated, tested or masked for travel. Currently, all airlines require face masks to travel. We recommend checking your airline’s policies in advance of your trip.
