At the National Eczema Association (NEA) our goal is to find answers for all who struggle with eczema! NEA is dedicated to advocating for increased research funding, new treatments, alternative treatments, and a wide array of initiatives to improve the health and quality of life for all those affected by eczema. This research website section provides an overview of eczema research from a variety of perspectives. To learn more about NEA’s 2017 research request for proposals, please click here >
First, the NEA Research Grant Program page provides a summary of all NEA funded research grants awarded to investigators since 2004. The NEA Research Grant program has provided seed funding on a wide range of eczema related issues, from itch, to skin barrier science, to psychosocial aspects.
The Clinical Trials page is where you will find a listing of eczema research programs that need you! It contains information about the clinical trials currently recruiting for eczema patients, and how to make contact with the study sponsors.
