At the National Eczema Association (NEA) our goal is to find answers for all who struggle with eczema! NEA is dedicated to advocating for increased research funding, new treatments, alternative treatments, and a wide array of initiatives to improve the health and quality of life for all those affected by eczema. First, the NEA Research Grant Program page provides a summary of all NEA funded research grants awarded to investigators since 2004. The NEA Research Grant program has provided seed funding on a wide range of eczema related issues, from itch, to skin barrier science, to psychosocial aspects.
The Drugs in the Pipeline section indicates new compounds currently in development for eczema/atopic dermatitis. It is a listing a HOPE for new treatments! Following that is an outline of the Phases of Drug Development.
