The National Eczema Association is a national, patient-oriented organization which is governed by a Board of Directors and guided by a Scientific & Medical Advisory Council (SMAC) comprising physicians and scientists who donate their time and expertise.
The Scientific & Medical Advisory Council provides strategic insights and guiding leadership for NEA’s research and clinical programs in partnership with NEA staff. The Council is comprised of three committees: the Council Executive Committee (CEC), the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) and the Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC). The Council is composed of thought leaders and rising stars in research, clinical practice and advocacy who are committed to advancing eczema science, patient care and related outcomes through furthering the mission of NEA.
