OS-01 FACE SPF Tinted Medium/Deep

OS-01 FACE SPF Tinted Medium/Deep is a lightweight sunscreen SPF30+ that has been proven to be safe for sensitive skin and blends seamlessly into the skin. It is a mineral sunscreen that is gentle on sensitive skin. Every ingredient in this formula was tested first in vitro on fibroblasts and keratinocytes in 2D cell cultures to ensure that they did not increase the gene expression of inflammatory markers. To determine the final formula we also tested on 3D human skin equivalents that were built in our lab, as well as on ex vivo human skin using our internal R&D skin score. Here, we measure over 20 specific genes looking at inflammation, hydration, proliferation, senescence, and DNA repair in order to find the safest and most efficacious final formula. Additionally, this formula includes powerful antioxidants that protect the skin from UV-induced free radical production. We measured the free radical scavenging capacity of the formula and found it to surpass other brands that claim to contain antioxidants. The safety and mechanism of action of our proprietary peptide, Decapeptide-52 (also called Peptide 14), were published in peer review journals. In all, this formula is highly suitable for individuals with sensitive skin, especially those with eczema.
