The State of Eczema

Eczema is personal. It's also shaped by care, access and research. This October, we're looking at Eczema through the lens of your story.

#UnhideEczema

More than 31 million people in the U.S. live with eczema, and each one has a different story to tell. This October, we’re putting real numbers next to those stories. On October 1, NEA releases the State of AD Indicator Report — our first national and state-by-state look at atopic dermatitis in this country — the same day Eczema Awareness Month begins.

The data confirms what our community already knows. Explore the full State of AD Indicator Report, or keep reading here for the stories behind it and how you can get involved in Eczema Awareness Month.

More than 31 million people in the U.S. have eczema and each one of them has a story to tell. For Eczema Awareness Month 2023, we are calling on our community to tell us #OneThingAboutEczema to highlight our shared experiences and reveal unique eczema stories.
