Employer matching gifts

You can double or even triple the amount of your contribution to the National Eczema Association when you employer matches your gift!

Corporations of all sizes offer matching gift programs as a way to support their employees and the causes they believe in.

Simply ask your human resources department if your company has a matching gift program. If so, your HR department will provide you with the right forms to get started and increase your contribution to support eczema care and research.

Stock gifts

When you make a gift to NEA of stocks, bonds or shares in mutual funds, you may be able to make a larger gift than otherwise possible while gaining a tax benefit.

By donating stocks or other securities you may:

  • Earn a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the securities
  • Avoid capital gains tax on securities that have increased in value (provided you have owned them for one year)

Your financial planner or accountant can provide you with information on the tax advantages of donating stock, bonds or mutual fund shares.

Please contact us at 800-818-7546 or have your broker notify us of the transfer in advance, so we can provide you with a prompt acknowledgment to serve as your tax receipt. Please provide us with the following information:

  • Number of shares transferred

  • Restriction on gift (if any)

Vehicle donation

Donate your vehicle to support the mission of the National Eczema Association. We accept any kind of vehicle, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, and boats.

Donating is easy:

Planned giving

The goal of planned giving is to combine your philanthropic goals with your estate planning objectives and attain both.

The sum of $______ (or real or personal property herein described), to be used for the general purposes of the Association at the discretion of its Board of Directors.

Residuary clause

All the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, I give, devise and bequeath to the National Eczema Association, a national, tax-exempt organization at 505 San Marin Drive, Suite B300, Novato, CA 94945. To be used (a) to advance the general purposes of the Association at its Board of Directors may determine; or (b) for _______________ (a specific purpose).

Bequest for a specific purpose

I give, devise, and bequeath to the National Eczema Association, a national, tax-exempt organization, headquartered at 505 San Marin Drive, Suite B300, Novato, CA 94945, the sum of $_______ (or real or personal property herein described), for _______________ (a specific purpose). It is my preference that the gift remains used for the specified purpose. However, I understand and agree that if, at some time in the future, it is no longer practicable in the judgment of the Association Board of Directors to use the gift for the purpose intended, the Directors shall have the right to use the gift for whatever purpose they deem necessary and reasonable in accord with the intent described herein.

General memorial fund

I give, devise, and bequeath to the National Eczema Association, a national tax-exempt organization, headquartered at 505 San Marin Drive, Suite B300, Novato, CA 94945, the sum of $________ (or real or personal property herein described), to be known as the __________ Memorial Fund. The Board of Directors of the National Eczema Association, at its discretion, shall determine the use of the income from this fund for any purpose of the Association. The Board of Directors may authorize the expenditure of all or any part of the principal of the fund for some project or special purpose that will forward their work of assisting people with eczema.
