How EczemaWise works

EczemaWise helps you record your skin health by tracking your eczema symptoms and triggers when you’re flaring — or not flaring — including skin, itch, pain, sleep, stress, treatments, triggers, diet and weather. Keeping a record of your symptoms and possible eczema triggers can help reveal trends and insights about your condition. You are the expert on your own experience, and this data can help you and your doctor better understand your eczema and set up a personalized treatment plan. The more you know, the more control you can have over your eczema.

Why you should use EczemaWise

1. It displays your data in easy-to-read graphs by day, week or months

Life is hectic. The app tracks every aspect of your eczema experience so you don’t have to remember it all. You can quickly find details about how itchy you were or how many days in a month you felt pain or couldn’t sleep because of your skin and share it with your doctor. EczemaWise helps you be your most prepared so you can make the most of your next appointment.

2. It can improve conversations with your doctor

The app tracks your data using doctor-approved tracking tools. The trackers, like the Patient-Oriented SCORing Atopic Dermatitis tool (PO-SCORAD) and Atopic Dermatitis Control Tool (ADCT), were created by medical researchers who specialize in eczema. Tracking your information in this way helps you and your doctor “speak the same language.” Your data will display a rating that will help your doctor see how you’re doing on this medically accepted scale.

3. It organizes all your skin photos so you can easily share with your doctor

In between doctor visits, you can take photos of your skin when you log your symptoms. You can easily save and organize photos in the app. You can sort by body area or severity, making it easy to select photos to share with your doctor!

4. You’re helping researchers find a cure for eczema

When you use EczemaWise, you’re part of finding a cure for eczema. The information you enter can lead to critical advances in eczema research. Your information — which is always kept private — helps create a research registry that scientists use to discover new treatments for all eczema patients. Your information is made anonymous in the registry, which means it is kept private and cannot be traced back to you — but it helps scientists see larger trends that affect eczema patients. 5. It’s an award-winning health app

EczemaWise has received several awards for being a top mobile app for disease management.
