On this episode of Eczema Out Loud, we’ll be exploring the impact of the patient voice. Jim and Megan, two members of the National Eczema Association’s Ambassador program, will be telling us how impactful sharing your story can be, not only for the future of the greater eczema community, but also for healing yourself.
We’re also joined by the director of patient advocacy at Regeneron, Ilana Tabak, and Dr. Eric Simpson, the Frances J. Storrs, M.D. Medical Dermatology Professor at Oregon Health and Science University. Ilana and Dr. Simpson will share with us how the voice of the patient has influenced their work and changed the direction of their fields and industries.
Sarah Yoa joins this episode of Eczema Out Loud to talk about her experience as a competitive powerlifter while managing her eczema. She also shares what it was like growing up with eczema and how it affects her every day life.
