Emma Guttman, MD, PhD, is the Waldman Professor and System Chair of Dermatology and Immunology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Her research on inflammatory skin diseases, including atopic dermatitis, has enabled the development of biologic treatments that target specific immune pathways.
Dr. Guttman joins us to talk about how her research has progressed our understanding of inflammatory skin diseases. We’ll also discuss how her work has contributed to the development of biologics for treating atopic dermatitis.
