Get the process started
Let us know you’re ready to get started, then sign and submit the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that we’ll send you.
Ensure you have required documentation
Upload required documents:
- Branded file of product (if available). It is not required but will be used for the SOA product directory listing. A stock image will be used in the directory until we receive your branded file.
- Formula of the product. Exact concentration levels must be provided. If the concentration levels are not included with the ingredient list, the application will not be considered for the SOA. The product must be fragrance free.
- Annual company revenue report. Annual Licensing Fees will be required once a product is accepted and will be based on annual company revenue, please inquire here for licensing fees before submitting the application.
- Clinical Testing, full report. Refer to the Clinical Safety Requirements for a complete list of our clinical safety testing requirements. Please make sure the Fitzpatrick Skin Type is included in the report.
Complete the Seal application
After we receive your signed NDA, we will send you an email that includes a link to the application and your unique SOA-ID number.
Pay the application fee
Submit the nonrefundable application payment of $500 per product. Application fees may be paid by credit card, direct deposit, wire, ACH or check.
Send your samples
Mail four samples of each product for which you are applying to the NEA office. Refer to FAQs for product sample requirements.
Please allow ten to twelve weeks from the time of completed application (including receipt of the application fee). Longer review times may occur due to high application volume. At the conclusion of review, you will be notified via email whether your product has been accepted, is ineligible for licensing or requires further documentation.
